The Susquehanna Valley Garden Railway Society (SVGRS) traces it's origins back to when Gene Boll gathered a few friends together to create a public garden railway display. Our localized area of membership in Pennsylvania is York, Harrisburg, and Lancaster -- and, we have members from as far South as Waynesboro, PA to as far North as Northumberland, PA.

The SVGRS is an informal organization, which meets monthly during the summer months at members' homes. The club sets up a number of public displays each year.

The SVGRS is a family oriented group. Ownership of a garden railroad is not required to join. Our annual dues are $25.00 per year which covers insurance, incidental expenses, and the cost of our club newsletter which is published 3-4 times a year.

Welcome! We're always looking to encourage an appreciation of the hobby.
